Troisyesme Bransle de Poictou by Le Roy

The first piece from Jean-François Delcamp‘s second collection, available  once you register free of charge for the Delcamp forum, is Troisyesme Bransle de Poictou by Adrian Le Roy (c. 1520-1598).

There’s nothing to trouble the left hand, but the right hand fingering is tricky. I think the idea is to keep a strict p-i-m pattern throughout. This can feel awkward at first when descending because it feels more natural to use p-m-i. I found it useful to concentrate on the crotchets (quarter notes) and associate their filled in heads with the index finger.
